Ready for the next job opportunity as a professional counselor?
At KPMH, we take good care of our clinicians, so they can take good care of their clients. No mas to the broken and inefficent systems all too often found in community based mental health. We have amazing clients, smart and streamlined systems, and great pay that actually allows for the work/ life balance you deserve. After all, how the heck are we suppose to teach our clients to take good care of themselves, if we can’t practice what we preach?
Hi! My name is Mary and I’ve been working as a clinician for 13 years. 10 of those were spent in community based mental health, which was a great growing ground, but not where I wanted to stay. A few years ago I took the leap and created a small group private practice, and just like that, we were off! The goal was simple, take good care of clinicians, so they could take good care of clients.
For me, taking good care of clinicians meant creating the dream job I’d wished I’d had during all those years in community based mental health. I wanted to offer exceptional pay, freedom and flexibility with scheduling and time off, and create a system that actually made sense. One that was smart and efficient, my most favorite thing. So, we did :)
Our clinicians get to pick their path to success according to their values. If they want to hustle and make really good money to pay off student loan debt, they can. Or, if they’d rather work less, choosing to see clients during a 3 day work week, leaving ample time to adventure, play and spend time with friends and family, that’s also an option. This job offers flexibility related to caseload, allowing our clinicians to take more or less clients depending on the season of life they’re in and the goals they have.
It has all the perks of private practice, without the time consuming administrative tasks and expenses associated with operating and managing a solo practice. We secure motivated and engaged clients, you do what you do best, write your notes, make sure your space is clean, and get out of dodge. That’s all, folks.
